Christmas In Poland

The old times ;) In the past, Christmas Eve was a very serious nature. She was fasting feast associated with the spirits of their ancestors. Dividing the wafer and mutual wishes mean that you can sit down at the common table. One place always was left free for the spirit of the ancestors. During supper tried to not to offend the soul, because it was believed that it has a huge impact on the household and family health.

Christmas Tree In many cultures and religions of the tree, especially conifers is a symbol of life. In Polish culture and other countries dressing the Christmas tree is a tradition. The whole tree is dressed with colorful baubles and lights flashing.

Carolers ;) Carolers - in the tradition of the Polish people dressed that during the Christmas walk from village to village, from house to house with the wishes of prosperity in the New Year.
