Upon completion of this course, the student will take the Advanced Placement exam (T. May 8th) to obtain college credit in physics. ALL Texas colleges and universities grant four to eight semester hours of credit for a 3 or higher score on this test.

LET’S GET STARTED!! You need Pencil Calculator Paper Getting to know Mrs. See’s Classroom WS

Change Units How many cm are there in 5 m? Convert 3 cm to m. Convert 28 MW into W. How many g are there in 60 mg? Change 25 kg to g. Convert 50 m/s to km/hr Convert 8.5 x 102 nm to m.

AP PHYSICS MATERIALS You need for class everyday: a PENCIL notebook paper A scientific/graphing/Nspire calculator for home use.

Change Units How many cm are there in 5 m? 500 cm Convert 3 cm to m. 0.03 m Convert 28 MW into W. 28,000,000 W = 2.8 x 107 W How many g are there in 60 mg? 0.06 g Change 25 kg to g. 25000 g Convert 50 m/s to km/hr 180 m/hr Convert 8.5 x 102 nm to m 8.5 x 10-7 m
