Important Exponent Rules: Anything to the “power of 1” is equal to itself.

Important Exponent Rules: Anything to the power of zero is equal to 1.

Important Exponent Rules: Negative exponents means you need to work with the reciprocal of the number.

Important Exponent Rules: When you multiple numbers with the same base you ADD the exponents When you divide numbers with the same base you SUBTRACT the exponents.

Important Exponent Rules: When you have an exponent raised to an exponent you MULTIPLy the exponents together.
