Upgrading the research performance in molecular medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Zagreb VetMedZg WORKSHOP Post-genomic era of molecular biology: Proteomics era I Zagreb, Croatia 09-11 December 2015 ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: The FP7 ERA Chair VetMedZg project was established to reinforce research performance in molecular veterinary medicine in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine through the transfer of knowledge and experience in the field of post-genomic technologies. The aim is to present application of omics technologies in veterinary medicine. The first hands-on workshops will cover the introductory proteomics and various sample preparation workflows of biological fluids, blood cells and cell cultures, sample collection, cell disruption, DNA, RNA and protein extraction techniques as well as protein separation. LOCATION: Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagreb REGISTRATION: Registration fee will be covered by organizer. There is a limited enrollment for the laboratory hands-on. Deadline for CV application is 31st of October 2015. Registration will be on-line. Open to PhD students, postdoctoral and all other researchers interested in the omics field. FURTHER INFORMATION: http://www.vetmedzg.eu http://www.vetmedzg.eu The project is supported by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development
