Kent Washington Stake Ward Boundary Adjustment 11 June 2017
Stake Presidency vision for Kent Washington Stake Balanced Active Melchizedek Priesthood Sufficient members for 2-deep leadership in youth programs Full Auxiliary Presidencies (S.S, H.P, etc.) Fewer multiple callings for individuals Stake callings are less taxing on the wards More people to strengthen new and less active members
How this will benefit the stake Balanced membership and resources to strengthen the ward and members Balanced Active Priesthood to households per ward. Reduces burden on ward leadership & members Provides new opportunities for members to get to know other stake members
How it happened Used process and tools provided by the Church Considered many variations Submitted final proposal to the First Presidency April 10th First Presidency approved on May 5th
