SFA ACROSTIC POEM Print STEPHEN F. AUSTIN vertically down the left hand side of your manilla paper, letter by letter. Each letter will be used in the construction of words, phrases or sentences to describe, analyze, interpret the man and his life. For this, use your textbook, Chapter 7 (p. 164-183…especially pages 182-183). After you have finished your acrostic, be creative and add at least 4 illustrations (Texas shape, dog-trot cabin, 1824 flag, ship Lively, jail, SFA university logo, etc.) to enhance your acrostic. You need to add color and make it neat and visually attractive. Make sure your name, class period, and sources (ex: Texas History textbook, website url) are on the back.

SFA ACROSTIC POEM For all classes, this is a minor (formative) grade worth 30 total points. You will be graded on: - Creativity & Neatness: 4 illustrations and color: (10 pts) - Grammar/Spelling: (5 pts) - SFA Interpretation (15 pts) DUE DATE: Friday, November 15, 2013
