Induction programme review Following Wave 2 induction, Learning & Development (L&D) decided to review their current induction programme. Feedback was received from 25 WorkSmart employees. The core messages of the feedback were; A lack of consistency in the induction programme, Knowledge gaps in the induction responsibilities of service lines, 2 occasions of unacceptable first days. Induction proposal overview Based on this feedback, the following improvements to the current programme are proposed: Greater level of consistency in all inductions Greater clarification of service line responsibilities Three managerial tiers within the induction programme (Team Member, Team Leader, Senior and Specialist roles) to assign role specific development A personalised Induction plan for each new start Mandatory “Induction day” to be run once a month Allocation of a “Buddy” to every new start Mandatory role specific modules (including Systems, Soft skills and Job specific requirements) October 14. 2011.
