WHY THE CBSE SYLLABUS? It enables the students to approach the NEET, JEE mains and advance, AIEEE, AIPMT. The basic syllabus for the competitive exams like IAS,IFS,IPS, UPSC.

EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION - CHANGES Board Exam - Written examination of 80 marks for all subjects 20 Marks internal assessment includes: Written unit tests NOTE-BOOK submission Speaking and Listening skills [ languages 1 and 2] Practical lab work [ Maths and Science] Map work and Project work [ Social-Science] CO- SCHOLASTIC assessment remains unchanged.

EXAMINATION SCHEDULE Unit test 1 : from 19/06/2017 to 23/06/2017 Tentative preliminary exam of first session in SEPTEMBER. Unit test 3 : from 27/11/2017 to 01/12/2017 IN THE MONTH OF FEB THERE WILL BE PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION. Board exam in the month of March. All the above exams will be conducted for 80 marks duration of 3 hrs and it will be half day on these days.

Why the change in time for classes IX and X

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday the school timings will be from 8: 20 am to 5 o’ clock. Wednesday- 8:20 am to 3 o’clock. Saturday – 8:20 am to 12: 30 pm The time-table will be done in such a way that on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday the students will have either library/sports/life skills in the afternoon session. This schedule will be followed from the re-opening of the new academic session from4th April 2017 onwards. From 3 pm to 3: 3o pm the students will have a break of snacks and the relaxation session with pleasant light music. Concentrate at the recapitulation part of the previously taught concept to facilitate the students in the desired path. To help advisees reflect upon and monitor their academic progress through a formal conferencing structure.

To develop and maintain relationship between the student and teacher To help students identify and develop the necessary attitudes, behavior s and skills to succeed in future life. To provide the students with their resources and information necessary to make thoughtful decisions about the future. Tentatively planning to complete the syllabus by December ensuring a thorough revision followed by two prelims.

Academic session for 2017-2018 starts from 4th April to 28th April. Summer vacations from 29th April to 28th May. 29th May – Monday school reopens. Dussera vacations: 28/09/2017 to 2/10 /2017 . 3/10/2017, Wednesday school reopens. Diwali vacations: 16/10/2017 to 22/10/2017. 23/10/2017 Monday school reopens.

Transport and Refreshments School canteen will be asked to provide evening refreshments. The school transport will be available in the evening.
