My name is Emily Daniels. I’ve been teaching for 25 years. I really enjoy what I do.

Starting the year off right!!! Our NEW school hours are from 9:15am to 4:00pm. If your child is not at school by 9:15am, they are considered tardy. PLEASE make sure that we (your child AND Mrs. Daniels) know how your child is getting home. ESPEACIALLY on the 1st day of school!!!!

HOMEWORK Homework is given daily, with the exception of weekends. Students begin the 9 weeks period with a grade of 100 for homework in each subject area. Each time a student does not do their homework 5 points are deducted.

Sickness/Illness If your child should become sick at school, I will question your child about their illness. If they feel it will help, they can just put their head down for a while. If your child complains of a headache/stomachache, I will send them to the nurse and she will contact you. If our nurse is not at school and your child becomes ill without specific symptoms, then I will contact you to discuss what we need to do. If I see that your child is visibly ill, then I will immediately contact you to pick up your child.

Conduct Conduct grades are given daily. You will be asked to sign/initial beside the conduct grade daily. Daily conduct grades are averaged at the end of the week. Weekly conduct grades are averaged at the end of the 9 weeks period. Student will ALWAYS know when and why the conduct grade changes.
