The Sheep and the Goats Matthew 25:31-40 Suggestions To provide a more contemporary slant to this well-known Gospel passage, adapt this presentation using translations such as The Word on the Street and The Message. We have used a more traditional translation here, to help those teaching or studying for GCSE RE. If you are using this as part of an assembly you could insert, after slide 9, examples of actions carried out by the school community, eg. marking CAFOD Fast Day, Youth SVP, visiting a local old people’s home, etc.
He will separate people, one from another
on sheep the right goats on the left
I was hungry you gave me and food
I was thirsty you gave and me drink
You gave clothing me
You took care me of
I was in prison and visited you me
when?
you did to me it
