Definition Essay

Thesis Statement Introduce the idea behind the concept “I believe that heroism is realizing the needs of you or someone else and trying your hardest to fulfill those needs, that is showing dedication to your quest, and that is not giving up, even when it is believed the odds are against success.”

Thesis Statement “Heroism is putting others before yourself and directly facing challenges, but not always saving or satisfying everyone.”

Negation Defining something by what it is not. Create a topic sentence with negation, “Although heroes strive to meet the needs of others, heroism is not always doing what is popular to please people.”
