In this course we will learn to: Discuss the issues and opportunities relating to using enterprise/solution architecture. Given a scenario, assess Information Technology (IT) investment activities using the Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) process to ensure investment decisions meet business objectives Given an enterprise scenario, assess the cybersecurity risks to ensure the system is secure enough to meet mission objectives. Given a Defense Business System (DBS) acquisition scenario, recommend applicable approaches to reduce programmatic risk Given an IT acquisition scenario, evaluate the effectiveness of the Cloud services solution Given a DoD IT/SW services acquisition scenario, recommend appropriate DESMF guidance to manage a suite of IT services Evaluate recent developments in the IT domain for impacts to DoD IT acquisition products and processes Given a DoD IT/SW acquisition scenario, recommend a course of action.
