Secondary Transfer If your child was born between 1 September 2006 and 31 August 2007 they will be due to start secondary school in September 2018. You can apply online for a Year 7 place from September 2017. School open days and evenings All Camden schools hold open days and evenings during September and October. We recommend you attend these (firstly without your child) to see the schools for yourself before applying and eliminate any your don’t like. Contact individual schools for details. Parents of Year 5 and Year 6 primary pupils are also invited to attend our annual Moving On to Secondary School event at the Camden Centre, King’s Cross from 3.30 to 6.30pm on Thursday, 15 September 2016. You need to register for a free place. Meet the Parents also holds informal forums for primary parents at local schools across the borough. We will publish any events organised by local primary schools.
