REQUIREMENTS Upgrade (to the next higher major release) MMS or at least Configuration-Manager Full easescreen Install-CD Upgrade (to the next higher major release) New productkey & internet connection at the POVs or license_update.ini (request with current key from support@easescreen.com)

Preparation before Update basis: proper easescreen pov-client installation Select all necessary files (for an update) For a “full” update/upgrade select all files and folders except: LOG, MEDIA, PLAN, UPDATER Directory .ini Files (except you also want to change settings) users.bin Create a .zip with all selected files

Preparations Upgrade Additionally to the update steps add one of the following files to the .zip package product_key.txt containing the new key as you received it or license_udate.ini (can be requested from support@easescreen.com)

Update/Upgrade without MMS Start the Configuration-Manager Right-click and connect to the POV-Client Select “Maintenance”→ “Update Software / Files” Add the created zip-file to the update files Deselect “Soft Restart” Click on “Update” POV-Client will reboot with new version

Update/Upgrade with MMS Start the Configuration-Manager Right-click and connect to the MMS Go to “Properties” → “Clients” Select all clients you need to update Right click on one of the selected clients “Update Software (via MMS)” Add the zip you have created to the update files Deselect “Soft Restart” Click on “Update” Close the “Properties” window POV-Clients will reboot with the new POV client software version
