Who were the Aryans?   The Aryans were a group of people that moved to central Asia (India) and raised/herded animals. Why were cattle a prized possession? They were a prized possession because they provided meat, butter, and milk. They also used cattle as money. How did their view on cattle change? They believed that the cattle were sacred and they forbid anyone to eat cattle as food. How did technology change? They invented the iron plow that helped clear the jungles. They also built canals. How did language change? They developed a written language called Sanskrit. It helped them because they could write poems, songs, and prayers. How did the organization of the social groups change? They were organized into tribes which were lead by a raja, or prince.
