THANK YOU Good morning everyone and welcome to SNAGs assembly. We would like to thank you for all your help and support in term 1 especially those who entered all our competitions and those who attended Fruity Friday.

Paul Burns Zumba SNAG are delighted to announce that Paul Burns from Fruity Friday will be taken Zumba after school classes every Wednesday, from 3:05pm-4pm in the assembly hall. Classes are free of charge and are available for all staff and students. They will begin this Wednesday 13th until Wednesday 2nd March.

Why should I do Zumba? Zumba is an fantastic exercise which can be shared by friends. Zumba has been proven to improve concentration in the classroom as it gets your blood flowing, meaning more oxygen can be sent to your brain. Also, zumba has been proven to help me us feel in a happy mood. Zumba classes usually start at £5 per person for each class. St. Mary’s are offering you 7 free classes that can be shared with all your friends.

Better Breaks This form class is eating healthy! The Better Breaks monitor will continue do random spot checks on each class. Please remember to have a healthier break to school. SNAG will continue to share our healthy break tips on our twitter page. This form class is eating healthy! This form class is not eating healthy!

Make Healthy Swaps No break vs. mixed fruit with nuts. Chocolate bar vs. berries and yogurts Fizzy Drink and crisps vs. Home made Smoothie Sweets or biscuits vs. Oat biscuits with peanut better or avocado.

FOLLOW SNAG @smhsnewrysnag Thank you for listening and we look forward to sharing SNAGs term 2 initiative with you very soon. Keep update on all Term 1 SNAG events on the St. Mary’s facebook and twitter page.
