The mock catalogue for future HI survey

Large scale galaxy formation models with HI gas Galaxy formation models including only cold gas phase in ISM DLB07, Guo11 &13 (L-Galaxies), Bower et al. 2006 (Galform) Post-Processing models including molecular and atomic phase based on the outputs of models without two-phase gas (Obreschkow et al. 2009; Power et al. 2010) Obreschkow & Meyer (2014) Mock catalogue for HI catalogue for SKA The models are not self-consistent Self consistent models of HI component in galaxy formation models Cook et al. 2010; Fu et al. 2010 & 2013; Lagos et al. 2011 & 2014; Popping et al. 2014 Galaxy Formation & Dark Matter Modelling in the Era of Square Kilometre Array (Power et al. 2015, mainly based on Galform model)

The mock catalogue based on L-Galaxies SAMs (version: Fu et al. 2013) L-Galaxies models (Guo13): Baryonic matter prescriptions describe the processes based on halo outputs of N-body cosmology simulation Physical processes on galaxies disks are radial resolved Include the HI & H2 transition in ISM Krumholz et al. 2009; Mckee & Krumholz 2010: ISM surface density & metallicity Blizt & Rosolowsky 2006: Interstellar pressure H2 proportional star formation law

Millennium and Millennium II Simulation Millennium Simulation: Springel et al. 2005 Millennium II Simulation: Boylan-Kolchin et al. 2009 The mass resolution of MS-II is 125 larger than MS: use to study dwarf galaxies and small galaxies at high z Millennium I (MS) Millennium II (MS-II) Particle number 21603 Particle Mass 8.6×108M☉h-1 6.8×106 M☉h-1 Box size 500 h-1 Mpc 100 h-1 Mpc Output snapshots 64 snapshots Between z=0 and 127 68 snapshots Minimum halo mass 1.7×1010M☉h-1 1.4×108M☉h-1 For the observations of HI and H2 these years, modelers try to describe Based on n-body simulation
