Future tube procurement Richard French WP4 Face to Face meeting Glasgow. 10/05/2012 CP2 titanium tubing? 316L stainless steel? Sizes, quantities and connections

Options for materials What are we going to build and from what ? How many? Tube diameters? Connectors and method of connection Time-scale or plan? Stave & Stavelet in Cp2 Ti is assumed. Never produced many Staves – more Stavelets 1/8” OD 200um wall is favorite. 2.275mm OD Ti welds ok now. VCR either welded or brazed works fine for testing. Input badly needed. Budget considerations? Capillaries, 25m is £125per m, 50m is £80 per m, 100m is £55 at current material prices so you can see the variation by qty. Ti Exhaust tubing is £56.50 for 100m or £50.50 for 150m 316L 1/8” exhaust tubing is £ £13.30 for 250m 316L 2.0mm exhaust tube is £ 16.50 for 150m
