I love sharks! Hi! Today you are going to learn about sharks, like were they live, what they eat , and how long they have been around. So I hope you enjoy my slide and now we start the life of a shark.

When they existed Sharks have been around before dinosaurs. And I thought dinosaurs were the first to roam the earth.

How sharks are born There are 3 ways that sharks are born; eggs are laid like birds, eggs hatch inside the mother and then are born, and the last way they are born are when pups {sharks} grow inside the mother {like humans}

What they eat Sharks are carnivores, which means that they eat meat like seals, and sometimes humans if there in their territory.

The sharks body Sharks have no bones. There skeleton is made of cartilage. Isn’t that amazing!

There fins Did you know that sharks have 5 fins! I only thought that they had 4 fins.

JAWS Sharks have the most powerful jaws on the planet. I wouldn’t want to be bitten by one.

WHEN IT ATTACKS When a shark attacks it bites with it’s lower jaw first, and then it’s upper.

TEETH Sharks never run out of teeth. If one is lost, another spins forward from the rows, and rows of back up teeth.

WHERE SHARKS EAT Normally, sharks eat alone, and swim as quickly as they can to catch their pray.

THE WORST SHARK The most dangerous shark is a white shark.

WEBSITES The websites I used were KIDZONE, ZOOM SHARKS , GOOGLE IMAGES, AND NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC .

THANKS Thank for watch my slide, and I hope you enjoyed it!!
