The Value of ECFC ADVOCACY EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT INNOVATION Dedicated to the ADVOCACY EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT INNOVATION of TAX-ADVANTAGED BENEFIT PROGRAMS that facilitate choice for employers and their employees Members Employers Third Party Administrators Health Plan Providers Payers Providers Payment Networks Processors Financial Institutions 1.1 -- ECFC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advocacy, education, advancement, and innovation of tax advantaged benefit programs that facilitate choice for employers and their employees. 1.2 -- ECFC members are deeply involved in cafeteria plans and other flexible benefit programs under Section 125, consumer-driven healthcare arrangements including HRAs HSAs, tax-advantaged transportation spending accounts (TSAs), dependent care assistance plans (DCAPs), and FSAs. Collectively, we refer to all these arrangements as “flexible benefit programs.”

Membership in ECFC ensures your voice is heard! 2.2 -- ADVOCACY: Shape public policy that supports tax-advantaged benefit plans and further advances employee choice and consumerism 2.3 -- EDUCATION: Create nationally-recognized education and certification programs to advance professionalism within the industry 2.4 -- ADVANCEMENT: Promote the expansion of tax-advantaged employer-provided benefits 2.5 -- INNOVATION: Foster a community where industry thought-leaders share best practices to maximize employer and employee choice 2.6 -- Legislative & Regulatory Advocacy Peek at the Week: Receive weekly updates on legislative and regulatory actions impacting your business, including upcoming House and Senate floor proceedings, hearing schedules, bills introduced, and relevant news articles, delivered directly to your inbox. Legislative & Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about policy changes, understand the latest technical and regulatory developments, and receive answers to your pressing questions at ECFC’s bi-monthly Legislative & Regulatory Update conference calls and member Q&A sessions. Monthly Teleconference Series: Gain access to essential insight and information with monthly in-depth briefings covering important, timely topics lead by ECFC’s Technical Advisory Council experts and featuring key decision-makers in government. 2.7 – Networking & National Meetings ECFC hosts two annual conferences that provide valuable networking opportunities. Both meetings include Q&A sessions with the ECFC Technical Advisory Committee, which provides guidance and answers to attendees’ most challenging questions; panel discussion with regulatory agency representatives, and lobbying and legislative briefings. The Annual Conference also provides attendees with the chance to meet with Congressional leaders and their staff to provide education and awareness on the importance of tax-advantaged benefit programs to working Americans. These meetings are designed ensure attendees receive information on the latest developments and issues, as well as provide a forum for attendees to learn from each other and share innovative ideas. The Annual Conference takes place in the spring, and the Administrators’ Symposium takes place in the fall. Members are eligible for the early bird rate for both of these conferences.
