Human Rights of Women and Human Security Women are often denied equal access to education, social services and employment While gender inequalities and differences exist everywhere, conflicts tend to worsen them During conflicts, refugees and internally displaced people need to be given particular attention and protection. Women and children represent the majority of these groups. => Human Security aims to ameliorate these situations. © 2006
