EOY Reporting What is reported in End of Year (EOY) submissions: Course completion Career Technical Education (CTE) Discipline Attendance Program participation

EOY Reporting (Cont.) Course Completion: Career Technical Education: Follow up to Fall 2 course reporting Shows outcomes of course enrollments Career Technical Education: Shows CTE concentrators and completers CTE Mapping Workshops have been held regionally to assist with implementation of the new codeset

EOY Reporting (Cont.) Discipline: Second year of merged CALPADS/CASEMIS reporting Interim Alternate Setting indicator still an issue

EOY Reporting (Cont.) Attendance: New student absenteeism reports that will drive accountability Requires security permissions so make sure you have them Independent study attendance does count in these figures Missing/skewed data in Special Education situations

EOY Reporting (Cont.) Program Participation Homeless Federal programs Pregnant and parenting (formerly Cal-Safe)

EOY Reporting (Cont.) Problems…maybe a few Reporting defect in CTE reports Districts asked to decertify after fix Deadline extended to August 25th No late submission notices to Superintendents until after the 25th

Preparedness Are you ready? CTE codeset realignment will be in full effect Do you have a mechanism in place to monitor attendance Plan on CALPADS changes as accountability measures gain definition Educator effectiveness Alternative school accountability
