INVESTIGATIONS TO RULE OUT CANDIDA OVERGROWTH STOOL R/M- SHOWED PRESENCE OF BUDDING YEAST CELLS (CANDIDA)++. URINE R/M ALSO SHOWED BUDDING YEAST CELLS ++. SPUTUM R/M ALSO SHOWED BUDDING YEAST CELLS++.

TREATMENT AFTER THE DIAGNOSIS OF CANDIDA OVERGROWTH ANTIFUNGAL TREATMENT. DIETARY SHIFT FROM HIGH CARBOHYDRATE TO HIGH PROTEIN DIET. PROBIOTICS AND IMMUNE BOOSTERS. AYURVEDIC TREATMENT. REGULAR EXERCISE AND MEDITATION. DRASTIC REDUCTION IN HIS GENERALISED AND GASTROINTESTINAL SYMPTOMS. SATISFIED WITH THE TREATMENT AFTER A LONG TIME.

ASK YOURSELF??? DO YOU SEEM TO SUFFER FROM A MALADY OF SYMPTOMS? YET NO ONE CAN TELL THE CAUSE? ALL THE INVESTIGATIONS SEEM ABSOLUTELY NORMAL? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TOLD THAT ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TOLD THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE CANDIDA OVERGROWTH ?

WHAT IS CANDIDA?? CANDIDA ARE TOXIC YEASTS THAT USUALLY RESIDE IN THE GIT, MOUTH AND THE UROGENITAL TRACT. 90% OF PEOPLE HAVE CANDIDA.

Frequency - most common fungal pathogen worldwide - 4th leading causes of nosocomial infections, 40% mortality - significant mortality and morbidity in low birth-weight infants - affects 75% women, 45% experience recurrenceA > 10 million visits/year - classified as a STD by CDC Immunocompromised - cancer and HIV-AIDs patientsC - most commonly manifested in patients with leukemia or HIV-AIDs infections. Oral candidiasis is often a clue to acute primary infectionC

HOW DO YOU GET CANDIDA OVERGROWTH?? HEALTHY “GOOD BACERIA KEEP CANDIDA LEVEL IN CHECK.

BUT THESE CANDIDA CAN GET OUT OF HAND DUE TO: INDISCRIMINATE USE OF ANTIBIOTICS. USE OF ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE PILLS. USE OF IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVES (ANTICANCER DRUGS/AUTOIMMUNE CONDITIONS). HIGH INTAKE OF CARBOHYDRATE/SUGAR DIET. HIGH ALCOHOL INTAKE. HIGH STRESS LIFESTYLE. DYSFUNCTIONAL IMMUNE SYSTEM. GASTROINTESTINAL DISTRESS. HORMONAL CHANGES DURING PREGNANCY. DIABETES (UNCONTROLLED).

CHRONIC SYMPTOMS DUE TO CANDIDA OVERGROWTH CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME ( FATIGUE, HEADACHE, DEPRESSION, IRITABILITY, INABILITY TO CONCENTRATE. BLOATING, GAS, DIARRHEA, CONSTIPATION. SUGAR CRAVINGS, INCREASED SENSITIVITIES. MUSCLE AND JOINT ACHES, RECURRENT SKIN RASES, SKIN AND NAIL INFECTIONS. DECREASED LIBIDO, RECURRENT VAGINAL INFECTIONS, PROSTRATE AND BLADDER INFECTIONS

PATHO-PHYSIOLOGY OF CANDIDA OVERGROWTH SYNDROME CANDIDA ALBICANS INFECTION DEPRESSES T CELL AND NK CELL FUNCTIONS WHICH RESULTS IN REACTIVATION OF VIRAL FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS. TOXINS CAUSE “LEAKY GUT” LEADING TO FOOD INTOLERANCE, ALLERGIES AND BRAIN FOG. TOXINS ALSO SUPPRESS IMMUNE SYSTEM, LIVER TOXICITY, HEADAHCES AND MUSCLE PAIN. CANDIDA IN BLOOD FORM Ag-Ab COMPLEXES AND DEPOSIT IN JOINTS, LUNGS AND BRAIN CAUSING JOINT PAIN, ASTHAMA, DEPRESSION AND HORMONAL DISRUPTION. INCREASED SUGAR CRAVING, FERMENTATION PRODUCE FLATULENCE AND BLOATING.

CHRONIC FATIGUE AND CANDIDA OVERGROWTH COMPARED. SYMPTOM CHRONIC FATIGUE CANDIDA OVERGROWTH IMPAIRED MEMORY & CONCENTRATION YES POST EXERTION FATIGUE UNREFRESHING SLEEP MUSCLE PAIN PAIN IN MULTIPLE JOINTS HEADACHES SORE THROAT, FREQUENT OR RECURING TENDER LYMPHNODES NOT COMMON

EIGHT STEPS TO CLEAR CANDIDA. GET THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS- PRESENCE OF CANDIDA IN URINE, STOOL AND SALIVA AND POSITIVE IgG and IgM FOR CANDIDA ALBICANS. STARVE THE CANDIDA. TAKE ANTIFUNGAL MEDICATIONS. HEAL THE LEAKY GUT WITH HERBAL TEAS, NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS. REPOPULATE THE GUT WITH FRIENDLY BACTERIA WITH PROBIOTICS. BOOST THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, REGULAR EXERCISE AND MEDITATION. DETOXIFY THE LIVER BY DRINKING LOTS OF WATER. HERBS SUCH AS GINGER, LEMON ETC. ENCOURAGE THE FLOW OF BILE. AID THE DIGESTIVE PROCESS WITH DIGESTIVE ENZYMES SUPPLEMENTS, YOGHURT ETC.
