Maryanne Roehm Dean Roehm gave the support for this chapter Must be housed in an institution of higher education in nursing Gave in-kind faculty time and money to make this successful
Deb Barnhart As the CE Director, she worked on planning for the chartering with the initiation and induction ceremony Endless, tireless hours went into setting up and arranging the chartering
Michele Pantle and other students In charge of the ceremonial aspects with help from the faculty advisors Held the election of the new officers with faculty advisors Accepted the responsibility of the new chapter and made a covenant with Sigma Theta Tau to make the chapter a success

The early years Dr. Becky Markel (many of us had her in our Masters Program at IU) She represented Alpha Chapter at IU Dr. Markel helped over the next several years to “show” us what a chapter should be by having us in for President meetings at headquarters, inductions ceremonies around the state, regional meetings, national meetings
