SCOPE OF PRESENTATION This presentation regards the relationship between landlords and tenants of residential rental property.

Bottom line The Texas Property Code is an outline of statutes governing Texas property. The rights and obligations of landlords and tenants are spelled out in the code. If they are not followed, a landlord or tenant can be sued.
