LOGISTICS TRANSPORT WEAPONS PROTECTIVE CLOTHING 9 long Nose Pick Up Trucks with tapaulinies, radio equipment and Gota security phones from national security. 1 station wagon for Co-ordination. WEAPONS Preferably pump action short guns for a start and rifles later PROTECTIVE CLOTHING 2 sets of uniforms/person/year made of special fabric with epaulettes and arm bans with FC-RRT embossed in it.

REPORTING SYSTEM It should be linked to either the WD or FSD Regional office depending on which challenge is being addressed. Regional Managers should be responsible for the following; Distribution of logistics to the team members Deployment of team members Disciplinary matters affecting team members Receiving reports and information from the members of the team and general public

REPORTING SYSTEM Establishment of security linkages with all the national parks as well as the security apparatus in the Region. Preparation and submission of monthly reports to the CEO of FC with copies to the respective EDs. Operational budgets for the teams should be routed through the Regional Managers to the CEO of FC

OTHER MATTERS The mode of operation of the teams should be on rotation basis. CEO may appoint a desk officer to Co-ordinate the activities of the teams in the various regions. Regional Managers may appoint desk officers to Co-ordinate the activities of the teams in the various Districts. Planning should be based on the bottom up approach.

TIME LINE PERIOD ACTIVITIES October-December 2011 Selection, training of staff. Acquisition of logistics and field equipment February-March 2012 Arrangement for accommodation for team members April 1st 2012 Deployment of pilot group of 9 teams to the hot spots to commence operations.
