Summary Digital engagement SWOG Definition SWOG Projects envisioned: Evaluation of a digital tool as a primary or secondary objective Utilization of a digital tool to support a clinical trial DE and Treatment committees Collaborative Will be based on project Committee Chair’s invitation

Digital Engagement: The SWOG Definition Apps Online videos Social media platforms, pages, and campaigns Interactive webpages Wearable devices Web-based videoconferencing Any tool that allows for two-way interaction Email Web–based surveys (eg, Survey Monkey) Simple static, web pages (info only) Examples of digital tools not under this definition Digital Engagement: The SWOG Definition

All projects testing a digital tool as a primary or secondary objective Clarity in hypothesis Well delineated objectives Sound methodology Analytic Plan Criteria: Mandatory DE Review

DE will vote on endorsement Criteria: Innovative Interesting Non-competitive Non-duplicative Alignment Transparent (COI) DE will vote on endorsement This will be communicated back to project leads and site chairs Mandatory DE Review
