Quality Improvement in FQHCs: The Dental Dashboard Martin Lieberman, DDS

History of the Project Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation and Washington Dental Service Foundation have been partnering with Community Health Centers and NNOHA since 2012 to convene expert advisors to develop a set of recommended oral health measures for High- Performing Health Centers. An online tool has also been developed to help Health Centers gather data and graph it for the measures.

Quality Improvement and Dental Health Centers are required to have an ongoing Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance (QI/QA) program that includes clinical services and management. Resources are there. Only recently have they been allocated to dental. A chance for Medical and Dental teams to speak the same QI language. Health Centers have IT resources
