From Award to Commencement Date Instruction to Commence (Works) – Clause 8.1 After Contract signature, responsibility to request the contract commencement is delegated to the Engineer Commencement Date shall be within 42 days after Contract signature, unless otherwise stated in the Appendix to Tender Engineer shall issue the Notice to Commence to the Contractor at least 7 days prior to Commencement Date Time for Completion (Clause 1.1.3.3) is calculated in days from the Commencement Date, not from the Contract signature date

From Award to Commencement Date Contractor’s General Obligations – Clause 4.2 Performance Guarantee - Clause 4.2 The Contractor shall provide the Employer a Performance Guarantee in 28 days after Contract signature and shall issue a copy to the Engineer. It is indicated to not release the Tender Guarantee until Contractor provides the Performance Guarantee This Guarantee shall be returned to the Contractor within 21 days after issuance of Performance Guarantee Except when sub-contractors were nominated in the contract, Contractor shall obtain Engineer consent prior to hiring the proposed sub-contractors – Clause 4.4 Contractor shall notify the Engineer at least 28 days in advance, for each sub-contractor, the intended date when it should start the activity

From Award to Commencement Date Planning, Zoning Application - Clause 1.13 The Contractor shall, in performance of the Contract, comply with applicable laws. Unless otherwise stated in the Particular Conditions: The Employer shall have obtained (or shall obtain) the planning, zoning or similar permission for the Permanent Works etc The Contractor shall give all notices, pay all taxes, duties and fees, and obtain all permits licences and approvals, as required by the laws in relation to the execution and completion of the Works etc
