New developments at the OECD (2) He proposed several activities (for example country reviews) There will be demand for data needed in analysis  importance of the present workshop and statistical cooperation Importance to fully implement NA data transmission Encouragement of Enhanced Engagement Countries to participate in OECD (statistical) meetings OECD has to ensure that discussions at these meetings are attractive to EE countries

New developments at the OECD (3) Broad-based (‘horizontal’) projects at the OECD Green growth strategy Measuring and fostering progress

New developments at the OECD (4) Green Growth Strategy Exiting the crisis with a new vision: environmentally sustainable growth Making environmental concerns an engine of growth Identify win-win situations Adress trade-offs Interim report to ministers: 2010; final report 2011 Green Growth work should also include non-OECD countries Strong indicator component Cooperation on data
