Forced Induction The original types and new types coming more and more into the racing world

The Original Turbocharger Uses exhaust gases in order to spool up a fan that forces air into the engine When air is compressed it heats up and needs to be cooled using an intercooler

The First 3D Printed Turbo Koenigsegg created the very first 3D printed turbo to be used on their production cars Since it is 3D printed they can manipulate it in ways never done before

F1 Racing assisted turbos These Turbos, initially used in F1 racing are starting to make their way into the street racing world to eliminate lag Use an electric motor to start spool

Superchargers Instead of using exhaust gasses to power the forced induction it is belt driven Can look like a turbo but belt driven!

Linking to our last meeting… AWD and Turbo!!!
