EPT EPT is similar to TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language). TOEFL is divided into three sections: 1. Listening (50 questions) 2. Structure and Written Expression (40 questions) 3. Reading (50 questions)

UI ENTRANCE EXAM For S1 program, Master program, and EXTENSION program: English exam given is the following: 1. Structure and Written Expression (40 questions) 2. Reading (+ 60 questions)

Structure & Written Expression Structure (15 numbers) Objective: Able to identify and make a well structured sentence by choosing one appropriate answer (a, b, c, or d). Example: The lecturer .......... the class yesterday. A. teach B. teaches C. taught D. she teaches

Written expression Written Expression(25 numbers) Objective: having the ability to identify a well structured sentence so that the students are able to identify the incorrect part written on the sentence. Example: There is many students in the class. A B C D

Parallel structure Parallel structure occurs if a word or a clause is connected with another word or clause by using a connector, e.g: and, but, or, both....and, either ..... or, neither.....nor, and comparison.
