Cardinal Glass Legacy ERP systems were a weak link in one of its key customer’s supply chain. Thus, they were unable to meet customers demands. Solution: Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM) Delivery products at nearly 100 percent accuracy. Speed up and smooth connections with suppliers and customers, reduce lead times, and meet their customers responsiveness goals. Working in real time and detect problems earlier. Ability to optimize order fulfillment execution. Reduction in manpower requirements

Theory of Groove Links workers via their PC without the assistance of a central web server so they can share all kinds of digital data. Enables human interaction.

Groove Software Includes tools to support collaboration: sharing Microsoft Office documents, text chat, live-voice chat, photo viewing, a drawing pad, and a browser. Designed to work best for groups of 25 people or fewer - but can be adapted for larger group numbers.

Hunt Corporation: SCM Using supply chain management (SCM) software to: Meet the companies and their customers’ objectives. Monitor critical supply chain processes to improve productivity, lower costs, and improve service.

K&G: SCEM Systems Ordering discrepancies can be resolved within 48 hours versus as long as two weeks. Monitors receipts daily and generate flags when anomalies are detected. Benefits of using SCEM systems: Elimination of doing expensive emergency drop shipments. Almost 100 percent of problems can be resolved on the spot. Savings in inventory costs and merchandise ordering.
