Education – High School Diploma, Masters degree in Library Science Pros – Get to work inside and with books Cons – Have to be able to multitask without getting easily distracted ****I had a partner named Vic and he was a Nurse. His salary is $65.450 Would you go into this field? Why? Yes, because it has good pay and its not difficult to do. What have you learned about this job? Would you recommend this career path? I learned that you can make a good living off of this job. I would recommend it.

Apartment Information Camelot Place Apartments 141 Camelot Drive, Saginaw MI, 48638 3 bedroom/ 1 and a half bath Included in Rent – Air conditioning, Cable, utilities, water, and heat Not Included – Pets Rent Payment – $779/mo. Required Deposit – $1558 (first and last month’s rent) It was not difficult to find an apartment to rent because I know a lot of places have openings and open apartments

Weekly expenses Groceries – $1775 Gasoline – $1095 Purchases – $3448 Sales tax is 6% so if something costs $400, you would multiply that by .06 and get 24 for sales tax, meaning your final amount is $424 It is important to save because you never know what might pop up in your life where you need some money.

Bills(monthly) Rent for apartment(double) – $1158 Telephone – $52.65 Utilities – $67.20 Cable – $55.99 Car payment – $584.66 Car insurance – $139.83 House payment/mortgage – $500.69 Homeowner’s insurance – $44.42 It was easy in a way to keep track of bills, it was just a hassle to write the checks. In the future, I’m going to write them down so I always know what is due on what day.

2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse Hatchback Purchasing My Car 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse Hatchback Color – purple Pros – Comfortable front seats, relatively roomy cargo area Cons – high price, poor outward visibility Consumer Reviews – Match percent – 79.4% Total price of car – $30,800.74 Monthly payments – $584.66 To get monthly payment, divide amount financed($28,800.74) by 100. Then multiply the answer($288.01) by 2.03, giving me $584.66 per month to pay.

Purchasing My House 3200 Mannion Road Saginaw, MI, 48603 $200,000 Description – Saginaw Township, safe neighborhood, huge back deck, medium sized lot, tree’s, bushes, white poles in front of house. Monthly mortgage payment – $500.69 1. It was easier to find a house than an apartment. 2. If you needed to move in a hurry, renting an apartment would be easier. There are less fees and things to go through. 3. I would buy a house in the future so I can call it something of my own that I worked for.

Insurance Information Insurance - a promised payment for a specific protection and/or future losses in exchange for a periodic payment. It is important to have Insurance incase something happens where you need help paying for a health problem or damage to a house or vehicle. Homeowner’s insurance costs – based on: Age of your home, what your house is made of, and the homes proximity to a fire station. Car Insurance – A means of protecting you and others in the event of an accident, theft, etc. Types of car insurance – Personal Injury protection, Collision, Comprehensive Car Insurance Costs – Deductible – A set amount an insured person pays between the insurer starts to make payments for covered services Claim – Official notification sent to an insurance company requesting payment of an amount due based on what is covered by the term Premium – Periodic Payment for an insurance policy (normally a yearly amount) Average Premium amount in Michigan: $$$1,677.92

Bank/Checking Account Total remaining amount – $42,774.94 I feel comfortable writing checks and keeping records. It is important to keep a check book updated so you can see if you’re missing a payment for something or if you are late with it.

Personal Budget Info.

Personal Budget Continued I am able to save 72% of my income. I am spending the most on my car payments. I am spending the least on homeowner’s insurance. There’s really nothing I need to cut from my expenses because I’m doing good with my money.

What I’ve Learned I’ve learned that being on your own and having a personal budget can be difficult. I have 72% of my money going into my savings Renting an apartment is a million times easier than buying a house Car dealerships have many hidden fee’s. Insurance is very important to have There are way too many bills that you have to pay.
