Part-Time Faculty Assignment Process* Email sent to PT Faculty with link to the PT Faculty Assignments Preference Form PT Faculty Assignments Preference Form is submitted electronically to the School Email sent to notify PT Faculty of their assignments 4th Week of Term – Friday 3rd Week of Term Between the 5th and 8th Weeks of Term 10th Week of Term 2nd Week of Term 12th Week of Term Email reminder sent to PT Faculty Assignments are made by the Chairs/Associate Deans PT Faculty member sends an acceptance email no later than 12th week of the term *Process implemented for AT, BIT, and HWPS 1 semester in advance. Process implemented for CHSS, MSE and SAGE 2 semesters in advance. The purpose of the Part-Time Faculty Assignment Process is to ensure that part-time faculty are scheduled in a consistent manner across the college, that course assignments are made early in the scheduling process, appropriate coverage of classes is achieved, and adequate time is provided for faculty preparation.
