Course Description Biology is the study of life. We will start with the smallest things that make up life and work up to the largest interactions between living things and their environments. This course is rigorous and will have an EOC/STAAR at the end of the year.

Goals To like biology at the end of the year. To gain tools in order to become successful individuals in a global society. To become responsible for your own learning. To cultivate critical thinking skills.

Academic Integrity ANY form of cheating, including but not limited to: copying, plagiarism, forgery and falsification will not be tolerated in this course. Students caught cheating will automatically receive a zero for that assignment, become ineligible for any extra credit assignment that may be given and a parent/guardian will be notified. Disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with school policy.
