The Cove Forest The Mountain Habitat is home to a very unique ecosystem called a Cove Forest. The upperstory consists of Hemlock, Basswood, and Tulip Poplar Trees. The understory consists of Magnolia, Dogwood, and Redbud Trees. The forest floor is covered with wildflowers in the spring.
