Traineeship (project oriented placement) Internship Mandatory part of the study programme (journalists and engineering students (BEng)) Paid (and no SU) or unpaid (with SU) Project oriented placement No salary Unless in countries with legal requirement of this (e.g. Germany). In that case it is allowed but you will not be able to receive SU at the same time. Possible to get an gratuity (erkendtlighed) max. 3000 DKK – must not be agreed upon in advance Possible to get actual expenses covered e.g. rent, internet 24 August 2016

Timetable in preparation for your overseas exchange stay Now Find out where you want to go and check for relevant courses Contact student advisor / check with your SDU curriculum Nov. 1st Deadline for application for overseas exchange places for autumn semester 2018 and spring semester 2019. Apply online on www.sdu.dk/studyabroad End Dec. You will be notified if you have been nominated for an exchange place or not After nomination Apply to the university and wait for final acceptance Apply for pre-approval of subjects by your study board You will receive mail regaring application for grant Apply for housing, buy plane tickets, insurance etc.
