Travel Guard Trip Insurance Travel Insurance is available through Travel Guard Two options available - $23 Base giving a 100% refund for cancellation due to a covered reason, and $36.80 still providing the base coverage along with allowing cancel for any reason - giving a refund of 75% of all non-refundable items when cancelling for a non-covered reason. Benefits: Trip Cancellation & Interruption: We will pay this benefit up to the maximum shown on the schedule of benefits if a trip is delayed, canceled or interrupted due to sickness, injury or death of an insured or immediate family member or inclement weather causing cancellation or interruption of travel. Medical Expense: We will pay this benefit, up to the maximum benefit shown on the schedule of benefits for necessary medical expenses incurred by the insured within one year from the date of injury or sickness provided initial treatment was received during the trip. Emergency Medical Transportation: Covers evacuation and transportation as directed by a physician to the nearest adequate medical facility (home in the event of death or if medically required). Pays for special medical escort if recommended in writing by the attending physician. Pays for expense to bring one person chosen by the insured to and from the hospital or other medical facility where the insured is confined if the insured is alone but not to exceed the cost of one round-trip economy airfare ticket.
