Present simple Regular verbs are the same for I/You/We/They and different for He/She/It/Name. E.g. I look, We look, He looks I sing, They sing, Sarah sings I am, You are, He is, We are, They are Michael reads, I read, you read
Present simple (third person singular) Remember for He/She/It/Name the verb changes (it normally finished with an s) Examples She eats a pineapple Mr. Smith reads a book He is happy
Past simple Regular verbs end in –ed E.g. walked, talked, looked Irregular verbs can end with other letters E.g. made, drank, said
Present continuous Pronoun I/you/he/she etc. To be am ‘m is ‘s are ‘re verb-ing E.g. walking, talking, looking
Past continuous Pronoun I/you/he/she etc. To be (past simple) Was Were verb-ing E.g. walking, talking, looking
Present perfect Pronoun I/you/he/she etc. to have have ‘ve has ‘s Past participle Regular is same as past simple Some irregular E.g. been, eaten, seen
