Reading General learning outcome: Exposing students to longer texts with varied and richer vocabulary. Specific learning outcomes: - Survival - Art and artists - Communication - Music instruments - Fears and phobias - Life at school - Saving energy Pedagogical Tools: - Listen to the text on a CD player before reading

Oral General learning outcome: Getting students to express themselves orally using the acquired vocabulary. Specific learning outcomes: -Poetry -Reading - Oral expression - Listening activities Pedagogical Tools: Having oral discussion in class Audio CDs

Reading Comprehension General learning outcome: - Reading much longer texts that require richer and more complex answers in which students use vocabulary and grammar. Specific learning outcomes: -* Being able to answer different types of questions: - Wh- questions - Yes / No questions -Multiple choice -True/ False questions

Grammar General learning outcome: - Writing and speaking correct English Specific learning outcomes: -Revision of tenses: * present simple and continuous * past simple, regular/irregular verbs - Past continuous - Present and past perfect tense - Conditional sentences 0,1,2,3 - Present and past simple passive - Present perfect continuous

Dictation General learning outcome : - Emphasizing correct spelling and grammar at the same time. Specific learning outcomes: -Unit – based dictations -Average length (55-65 words) -1 point for each misspelt word (new or acquired)

Essay Writing General learning outcome: - Writing longer paragraphs using long and correct sentences. Specific learning outcomes: - Write an email - Write a descriptive paragraph -Write a structured paragraph

Recommendations -Students should revise regularly. -Each objective is practiced several times so no need to stress your children. -The student must have an English dictionary at home. - Practice makes perfect, so if possible practice English with your children.
