Kevin Nolan, VP of Technology for GE Appliances Recently appointed to a three-year term on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Smart Grid Advisory Committee (SGAC). Recognized for his leadership in bringing GE’s Home Energy Management technologies to the forefront of the industry, Nolan will help provide input and direction on smart grid standards, priorities and gaps, as well as the overall status and health of U.S. smart grid implementation. Graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (’89). Entered the prestigious GE Edison Engineering program and has been with GE ever since.
