SCHOLARSHIP TIPS Know the deadlines (TTU deadline for incoming Freshmen December 1) Apply for anything and everything! Research your major for potential opportunities. Check websites of major companies (Walmart, Coca-Cola, etc.) for scholarship opportunities. Check out local organizations (AMBUCS, Lion’s Club, churches, parent employers, etc). Utilize resources such as your high school counselor, the Internet, and social media.

STUDENT AID REPORT Once the FAFSA is submitted and processed by the Central Processer you will receive an email with a link to your student’s Student Aid Report (SAR).
FINANCIAL ELIGIBILITY Expected family contribution (EFC) Cost of Attendance less EFC=Financial Need $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ EFC is used by financial aid offices to determine grant eligibility, type of scholarship, and subsidized or unsubsidized student loans.
