Nonprofit, independent, nongovernmental organization The aim: Engagement in the empowerment of the community and contribution in creation of conditions for a more positive security environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the region; The mission: improving the quality of life, safety of life through empowering communities, promoting a culture of non-violence and to build a society based on a culture of peace, justice and equality;

Global Analytics opposes all forms of social destruction, especially of violence and extremism, and it was recognized the necessity to work on prevention of the criminalization of migrant crisis and protection of children's rights; GA is interdisciplinary and systematically engaged in socially - significant, fundamental and applied scientific research of society, security research with emphasis on the protection of children's rights, psychosocial research, research environment, youth, education, culture and religion; with full application of scientific methodology and with a holistic approach to the problems of this kind of violence.

About organization The organization has multiethnic character, brings together independent experts in the field of sociology, pedagogy, psychology, security and peace studies, law, journalism, social work and so on. The founders and members: young students of universities across the country, citizens, members of the academic community - professors, assistants, experts and volunteers; most of the members of our association are young people and women. Activities of the organization are aimed at vulnerable groups such as children, young people and women, through awareness-raising and protection of these categories.

Activities Research activities focused on current social phenomena; International co-operation with non-governmental organizations, research centers from the Western Balkans, diaspora associations, as well as with universities across the country; Currently, the projects related to the problems of children and youth (cyberbulling and juvenile delinquency), gender equality and prevention of violent extremism and radicalism and criminalization of migration;

Experience of non-EU country Bosnia and Herzegovina is of the countries that are not affected by this issue, so that there are no specific legal regulations, generally these laws are derived from the laws and acts of the UN and the EU concerning the basic rights of the child and protecting children from various forms of violence and endangerment.

However, according to our estimates, these facilities are short-term and have intervention characteristics; No developed plans for permanent deployment and support of unaccompanied migrant children. Human resources exist, there are a number of NGOs that have experience in working with refugees, in working with abandoned children, and otherwise organizations dealing with the rights of children and young people, such as Global Analytics.

B&H capacities Imigration center - specialized institution for reception and accommodation of foreigners with the decision by the competent authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina with certain meassure of placement under supervision in accordance with the law. Center was established within the Department for Foreigners' Affairs and opened in July 2008 with a capacity of 25 beds in the men's pavilion, and 15 beds in the women's pavilion. In November 2009, the work began a new facility for illegal migrants with a capacity of 80 beds and in July 2011 the temporary male department converted into two family suites to accommodate families with children.

Imigration Center

Current situation Currently the immigration center has a capacity of 80 beds in the men's pavilion, 12 beds in the women's pavilion and two family suites. Since the opening of the immigration center by mid-2016, the Center has placed a total of over 2,000 users and more than 100 minors. Since 2011, when in the center stayed daily average of over thirty users, there is a decreasing trend in the number of users, reflecting the serious approach of the Service in the managing migration, and the impact of change of the route of movement of migrants.
