Adjective Clause

Definition A Clause is any group of words with a subject and verb An adjective is a word that describes a noun Therefore, an adj. clause is a group of words with a subject and verb that describes a noun

Definition continued They will most often start with one of these words: WHO, WHICH, THAT, WHOSE, WHOM An adjective clause is EXTRA in a sentence. There must still be a main sentence left even if you take out the adjective clause

Here are some examples for you to see adjective clauses in sentences
