The two year Sixth Form programme 2017-19 Term 1 Settling into a new tutor group (and possibly a new school). 3 or 4 (and for some) 5 subjects in Year 12. Focus on Study Skills Many opportunities to get involved from music, drama and sport to mentoring, volunteering and being a subject ambassador Publication of ALPs target grades Progress check 1 (published in November ) Parents’ Evening (Tuesday 5th December)

A Level reform: period of transition has ended Linear (Reformed) A Levels ALL subjects are now Linear Q. What does this mean? A. Your A level grade is wholly awarded on the exams you take in the summer of Year 13 (2019) There will be an option to take the stand alone AS qualification in Year 12 if you are considering dropping a subject.

Stand alone AS qualification (Summer 2018) Taking an AS qualification is possible in every subject EXCEPT Art and Design English Literature Not possible to take a standalone AS qualification due to the nature of the course content. The AS and A level content is not co-teachable.
