OEPA STUDENT INTERVIEWS

WHAT IS OEPA? OEPA stands for Office of Education Performance Audits. They are a part of the WV Department of Education.

The OEPA’s primary goal is to assure that all schools are accountable for: a common set of high quality standards core policy and Code compliance continuous improvement

One thing they do is interview groups of students. In other words: Their job is to measure the quality of education and the preparation of students. To do this, teams of auditors visit the schools and look at a number of things. One thing they do is interview groups of students.

SAMPLE STUDENT INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

1. What does your school care about the most?

Possible Answers Making the most of instructional time. Developing positive relationships with peers and others. Feeling safe.

2. What student leadership opportunities exist in your school?
