Dinosaurs Destroy Detroit Ari Feldberg

This book was about: Two kids who travel back in time and bring back a dinosaur egg. When the dinosaur egg hatches the trouble begins…

Characters Best friends, Nick and Summer. Mr.Mulroony, a dog catcher. 3 dinosaurs who attack Detroit.

Setting This story takes place in current times and also in the past. It starts with Nick and Summer at the window going back in time. When they go back in time, they bring back a dinosaur egg. They do not realize that two more dinosaurs came back with them as well. They go to Nick‘s house to put the dinosaur egg away. The egg hatches and the dinosaurs start exploring and destroying Detroit.

Conflict/Solution The dinosaurs destroy Detroit and Nick and Summer know that they have to save the city. Mr.Mulroony tries to catch the dinosaurs like they’re dogs which doesn’t work. Nick and Summer discover that the dinosaurs like burgers so they decide to use them to make a trap. They use burgers to get the dinosaurs to follow them back to the window. The dinosaurs go through the window and back into the past. Nick and Summer go home and are glad there are no more dinosaurs.
