Summary As we all know, managing one subsidy can be a full time job. What about managing different blends of subsidies? This session will focus on teasing out the differences between various subsidies, including Multifamily/TRACS, S8 Vouchers (HCV or PBV), and Tax Credit. We will focus on satisfying EACH program so that we are compliant in ALL. We will also cover using Rental Assistance accounts to combine the subsidy dollars.

What are Layered Subsidies? Compliance with Different Programs Creating a Dual Subsidy in WinTen2+ from a Waiting List Adding Dual Subsidy to an Existing Tenant Subsequent Certification Processes and Coordination within your Agency Ending Dual Subsidy Situations

Layered Housing Subsidy Occurs when a participant is housed with two (or more) subsidy types. Usually some form of voucher assistance (HCV, PBV, MF, RD) within a unit based project (LIHTC, RD, Market, Mixed Finance) Agencies must track compliance and certifications for ALL subsidies.
