PGES pta What is the PTA? The parent-teacher association (PTA) association is composed of parents, teachers and staff to facilitate parental participation in your child’s school. What is the mission of the PTA? PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

Join the PGES pta Why join? How do I join? 100% of PGES Teachers have joined! Why join? Your membership helps us provide the programs on the previous slide. We need your membership to impact legislators as we advocate on behalf of our kids and teachers. Current PGES PTA membership is 155. You do NOT need to DO ANYTHING as a member. How do I join? Mime Teacher Mini-Grants Bilingual Parent Outreach Event 10/14 Tea and Tissues for K moms First in Fitness competition Staff Appreciation Week in May Red Ribbon Spirit Week Celebration book club Cultural Arts: October 27: Jody Cassell: Dancing Stories! Stories Come Alive! for K-2 students Spiritwear Passive fundraising – boxtops, reward cards, etc. Parents Night Out Babysitting December 1 Family Night Out events Black History Month Concert Sponsorships through Katche Cultural Arts: February 15: Bright Star Theater: Tour 12. Two Shows during the day. GIVING TREE We have raised $3,637 of our $4,000 goal as of this AM. Please help us meet our goal! Box at the PTA table. Credit cards accepted.  Drive ends tomorrow, Friday 9/29. All donors receive a hummingbird on the Giving Tree in the school lobby.
